Itinerary

We will pick you up at your hotel fifteen minutes before the start of the city tour, and then we will begin our visit to the main tourist sites of Cusco.

Your first stop will be Sacsayhuaman, which means «satisfied falcon» in Quechua and was built with huge blocks of stone, will be our first stop. Known as the «house of the sun» in Inca times, it was an important religious center. Next, we will go to Qenqo, which the Spanish called «Labyrinth» in Quechua for its intricate subway passages and tiny canals with zigzag carvings.

Afterwards, we will head to the historic local market of San Pedro, where we will be able to taste some of the region’s products and sample the local flavor. As we continue our journey, we will stop at the magnificent Koricancha Temple, also known as the Enclosure of Gold in Quechua. This temple is revered because it once housed Inca priests in charge of worshipping the Sun God. We will visit Cusco’s main square to conclude our tour, and take a quick walk along the city’s main thoroughfares to see the well-preserved Inca walls and buildings (Hatun Rumiyoy, «Stone of the 12 angles», and Intikijllu Loreto Street»).
