We will pick you up at your hotel very early in the morning and by bus we will go to the town of Mollepata for an approximate time of 2 ½ hours, here we will meet our muleteer, who will accompany us during the course of the excursion.

At this site we will observe the snow-capped mountains and glaciers of the Salkantay and also appreciate the magnificent view of the falling snow avalanches and then descend through the jungle until we reach Challway, our next camp.

This day will be unforgettable because along the way we will see a large amount of flora and fauna, we will pass through the community of Arranniyuc and continue descending towards the edge of the jungle, where we will appreciate the formation of hot springs in a small valley. Then we followed the course of the Santa Teresa River, observing in this section various varieties of orchids and waterfalls of great magnitude. Finally we arrived at our camp, an area called the Beach.

We will leave in the middle of the high jungle appreciating a wide variety of crops including coffee, bananas, avocado, pineapple and the most interesting thing is to see some crops of coca leaves, a sacred herb of the Incas. Afterwards we will enjoy the Cocalmayo Thermal Baths (the 10 Soles entrance fee is not included in the tour). Then we will continue our hike to Aguas Calientes (2,160 m/7,087 ft).
